PITTSBURGH, July 7, 2021 – HIKE2 is excited to welcome Tom Lovell as Market Industry Leader, Manufacturing and Distribution.Tom’s depth of knowledge in manufacturing technologies and process driven strategies bolsters HIKE2’s thought leadership in the industry. His expertise aligned with HIKE2’s vision to build better companies are keen to develop best practices with a manufacturing point of view.

“We are excited to have Tom join the HIKE2 team,” said Amanda Wodzenski, HIKE2 Principal. Tom will advance our vision of innovating digital transformation solutions for our manufacturing customers.”  With his deep expertise and background in the manufacturing industry, Tom knows how to shift focus from being product centric to customer centric, attract talent, and bolster a data driven company. Regardless of their stage in their transformation journey, Tom will create value for our clients by revealing a strategic vision that grows as their needs and business grows.”

“I originally started my career on the production floor at a couple different manufacturers and eventually made my way into the data world through an SAP R/3 Implementation.” “It really opened my eyes to enterprise software applications and services.” Now as digital transformation sweeps the industry, manufacturers are looking to invest in their CRM to become more customer centric. Manufacturing, prior to covid, has focused on ERP. “How do I make a product, ship, sell, and service a product”. The omnichannel experience for the customer is in its beginning stages for many manufacturers. Building this dynamic communication model needs guidance from experts, molding the process as the business adopts this practice for correct implementation and to ensure adoption from partners and customers alike. “Adoption is key,” requiring support in change management and an explicit dedication to making action that translates into the vision of the company. “This change is initiated from Leadership,” and HIKE2 offers the rigor to guide leadership’s focus on data driven decisions and their customer’s experience.

Prior to joining HIKE2, Tom Lovell was the Vice President Manufacturing CoE for Simplus, a platinum Salesforce partner focusing on Quote-to-Cash implementation. He enabled success for Simplus through Go-To-Market, best practices, and internal enablement. Tom has previously held leadership roles at Hilo Studios, Wave6, Emtec, and 1WorldSync while also being a member of NAM (National Association of Manufacturers). In addition to his thought leadership in manufacturing, Tom proudly boosts the role of Prop Dad. He along with a handful of other Dad manage the logistics of loading, moving, and prepping props for their children at dance competitions.
